Al Dahra ACX is the No.1 forage exporter in the United States, and one of the leading exporters of roughage and feed products in North America. For over 35 years, Al Dahra ACX has maintained its top exporter status in international forage markets, especially those of East Asia and the Middle East.
Al Dahra ACX has been awarded the United States Presidential “E” Award for exports and is listed amongst the top 20 exporters in the United States. In 2015, Al Dahra ACX exceeded its closest rival by a margin of 23% in forage exporter volumes, and became the fourth biggest exporter of large food and feed in North America, just behind Cargil and Socular, and well ahead of brands like Bunge and Zennoh.
Al Dahra ACX offers a wide spectrum of product categories and quality range to meet individual customer needs. Its product portfolio includes premium and standard grades of Alfalfa, Timothy Hay, Sudan Grass, Oat Hay, Bermuda Hay, and other hay and straw products as well as feed ingredients such as whole Cottonseed, DDGS, Sugar Beet Pulp Pellets, and Soybean Meal. Hay products are available in double-compress full bales, half-cut bales, and 430Kg MACX-bale sleeve. All products are containerized and loaded to maximum weight capacity according to customer specification and exported through the West Coast and East Coast ports of the United States.
Al Dahra ACX processing facilities are strategically located in prime hay-growing regions of the Western United States with close proximity to major sea ports. Al Dahra ACX operates three production facilities in Wilmington, Ellensburg and Arizona. The company produces over 700,000 metric tons annually from its various hay export processing facilities.
Furthermore, Al Dahra ACX operates state-of-the-art processing facilities and industry-leading machinery and has a large asset base including storage facilities and transport fleet to ensure seamless operations and sustained export quality. In addition, the company offers real-time online tracking of customer orders and scheduled deliveries. It also applies stringent quality control standards and inspections across all production processes through the ACX Triple Check Quality Control system.
To complement its strong presence in strategically-located forage growing areas, Al Dahra ACX has started its own cultivation on owned and controlled land in Southern California and Eastern Arizona through Al Dahra Farms USA and continues to invest in growing its farming lands portfolio. Its annual cultivation capacity is upwards of 40,000 metric tons of alfalfa and other grass hay. Al Dahra ACX cultivates about 30 thousand acres of land across various farms in the USA.
